I’ve often heard people talk about how answers to their big conundrum came to them in a meditation or prayer. Or, solutions / people / opportunities seemingly coming out of the clear blue sky to help them bridge the gap between where they are now, and where they want to go.
But, how do you replicate this for yourself?
In this lesson, I’ll share a few ways to steer yourself in that direction. Obviously, no guarantees, yet it’s worth a shot.
For example, you live in Singapore and you have your heart set on a job in New York City. You’ve been trying to get there for a long time. No matter how much head-scratching, networking, and résumé updating you are doing, it somehow never seems to work out. This is where you could leverage the "quantum how."
Which, is a term I coined and shared in P.S. You’re A Genius. Essentially, it’s where you get the answer to come to you.
For example, your old college dorm-mate bumps into to at the grocery store and recently relocated herself to New York and can get you in touch with the recruiters who are hiring for an open role for someone like you.
It’s part work and part magic.
Now, you don’t always get a “quantum how” delivered to you, but it’s worth trying.
This is the tool I leverage when I really don’t know how to get where I want to go. And, I’ve run out of options of brute-force actions I can take—like, update the résumé, apply for jobs, and network—and I’ve only been met with crickets and roadblocks.
