About this lesson:
I took a day off recently—where I tried to cram everything I love into a back-to-back adventure.
Drive for a coffee here. Squeeze in a walk there. A boat ride to the island! Grab an ice cream here before they sell out. And now a homemade dinner. Don’t burn the broccoli too much in the skillet—but—cook it fast!
And, one of the highlights of the day was when we missed our ferry boat and had to sit in the sun, enjoy a coffee, and wait for the next one in 2 hours.
A classic.
Recapping the day, my intuition told me this nugget: “optimizing is not flow.”
Meaning, when we use our human minds to plan, strategize, and format the Excel spreadsheet endlessly that’s not really flowing with life, following the charm, or allowing space for the magic, flow, or pockets of joy to unfold.
What you will learn:
3 tools I use to practice “flow” in my day. (And, strengthen my intuitive, creative impulses).
About a quote from P.S. You’re A Genius about surrendering that I love.
How to get out of your head and into your body so that you can lean into surrender vs. control.
How to hear your intuition’s guidance.
